Thirteen holes in the middle of Phoenix. Encanto is not a typo and not a gimmick. The city rebuilt this Depression-era muni into something odd and completely its own. You play a full eighteen but walk a shorter loop. The layout fits a tight urban footprint without feeling cramped. Flat desert terrain, mature trees, and enough character to make you forget the strip malls a block away. Phoenix has flashier options. This one has history and a restaurant that gives you a reason to stick around after the round.
