Walking at 5,876 yards sounds short until you remember Aurora sits a mile high. The ball carries. Your legs feel it differently. Heather Ridge rolls enough to keep things interesting without punishing you for leaving the cart behind. A 128 slope means the course has some teeth, but nothing that turns a pleasant walk into a forced march. Straightforward public golf in the Front Range. The terrain does the work. Wide horizons, thin air, and enough movement in the land to earn your post-round beer.
