Rolling terrain gives this northern Minnesota track its natural rhythm. At 5,739 yards, the routing uses grade changes that flat courses simply cannot offer. Slope of 115 lands in moderate territory. Enough movement to feel the walk, not enough to wear you down. A walkability score of 74 puts Irish Hills in solid but unspectacular company. The walker is welcome here, even if the course won't make any highlight reels for pedestrian-friendly design.
