Los Caballeros plays through high Sonoran terrain where the saguaros outnumber the golfers and the dry mountain air makes every yardage marker a suggestion. Seventeen holes is an odd number for a reason worth asking about at the pro shop. Walking is the right call here. The desert floor stays firm, elevation changes are honest but manageable, and the pace lets you actually see the landscape instead of bouncing past it in a cart. Wickenburg has always been the kind of Arizona town that does things its own way. This course fits.
