Flat Louisiana terrain means you won't fight elevation on the walk. Bermuda fairways roll out clean. The sky does what it does here. 6,284 yards plays manageable in heat without the ground working against you. Slope sits at 113. Moderate enough to respect without grinding you down. The course moves enough to stay interesting. Not enough to break you. Summer heat in the Deep South isn't something to mention in passing. It's what you're dealing with. Book morning tee times. Not because it's nicer. Because it's the only sensible choice.
