Small-town North Dakota golf at its most unpretentious
Small-town North Dakota golf at its most unpretentious. 18 holes played twice from different tees to make eighteen. The terrain stays flat and friendly, typical of western prairie courses where the wind does all the work the architects didn't bother with. No carts pushing you along here. You walk, you play, you're done in a couple hours. Green fees won't dent your wallet. The kind of place where locals show up after work, play until dark, and nobody's checking your handicap or your collar. South Heart sits just west of Dickinson, easy to miss if you're blowing through on I-94. Worth the detour if you want golf without pretense.
