Twelve holes in the Mohawk Valley. That's not a typo. Pine Hills runs a dozen, which means you're either playing through or doing the math on which six get repeated. Either way, it's an odd setup that keeps things interesting. The terrain stays manageable for walking, nothing that'll have you gasping between shots. Semi-private means you can get on without knowing somebody, and the green fee won't require a second mortgage. Not fancy, not trying to be. Just a local track where you can get your steps in and play actual golf without the pretense. Bring comfortable shoes and lower expectations for amenities.
