Nine holes at Central City, Nebraska. 3,204 yards of rolling terrain for the before-work crowd, the lunch-break regulars, and the after-school set. Slope of 115 puts this squarely in moderate territory. Enough movement to notice, not enough to dread. The nine-hole public course is the most democratic format in golf. This one does its job without asking for more credit than it deserves.
