Flat terrain in the South Branch Valley. No surprises, no climbs. At 6,129 yards with a 108 slope, this is about as straightforward as golf gets. Bermuda fairways play firm in summer. The West Virginia heat will slow you down. Valley View won't test your legs, just your patience if you're stuck behind a slow group. Bring water. Walk early if July humidity bothers you.
