Six holes of par-3 and par-4 golf in Lake County. Vernon Hills keeps it simple. Short layout, minimal elevation, walk it in under an hour. Not a destination course. Not trying to be one. This is where you squeeze in 6 holes on a Tuesday evening or teach someone the game without overwhelming them. The 76 walkability score matches what's actually here: flat, compact, zero drama. Green fees stay low enough that walking makes sense. For north suburban golfers who just want to hit shots and move, Vernon Hills delivers.
