Fourteen holes in the Arizona desert, and yes, you read that right
Fourteen holes in the Arizona desert, and yes, you read that right. Wickenburg runs a layout that predates the eighteen-hole standard and never saw reason to change. The semi-private setup keeps green fees around thirty dollars, which buys you something most desert golf can't offer: a course built before developers started moving earth by the ton. Walking works here if you time it right. Desert terrain means morning rounds in summer and midday freedom in winter. The restaurant gives you a reason to linger after. Not every course needs to follow the template. This one never did.
