Forsyth County has no shortage of places to play, but Windermere earns its reputation the honest way. Eighteen holes of public golf north of Atlanta where walking is welcome and the pace tends to stay reasonable. A 73 walkability score suggests manageable terrain without any brutal hikes between green and tee. The locals who play here regularly know what they have. Not flashy. Not trying to be. Just solid suburban golf that respects your time and your legs.
